As I am going through changes with my skin, I thought this question was quite topical.
The easy answer would be that I had the best skin as a baby!
In seriousness though, I was probably 22-23 when my skin was at its best. I had a few spots as a teen and then a bad bout of acne at 20. Things settled down, helped by investment in good quality cleansers & moisturisers etc, but when I fell ill after university, I ended up taking a lot of different medication long term which hasn't been great for my skin (big dark circles and dullness now).
With acne no longer being just the bane of teenagers, when do you think your skin looked its best? Can investment in great skincare brands in your 30s, 40s and 50s make your skin look better than when you were younger?
